Life on the East Coast

Wow life has been so crazy busy out here lately! I just finished painting MJ's bedroom. It is like a caramel wall color. It's such a great feeling to just accomplish something like that. I went to Jacque Torres chocolate shop in NYC today. What a fun experience. Gabby went with me and we actually got to meet him and shake his hand. What a very nice French man he was. It was great. He is a big deal in the Baking world so it was very fun for me. We also went to Les Halles and had dinner, which is an Anthony Bordaine restaurant. It was super yummy. Life has been really great out here. Gab and MJ will never cease to make my jaw drop with things they do good and bad. It is just so much different then the lifestyle of growing up in UT. I just wanted to post an update. I am going to be going out to Boston in two weeks. Brad Tanner is coming out to visit and we are going to have a historical journey on the East coast. It should be fun.

Taxes

Wow I always forget how much I really hate filing taxes! I don't know half of the questions they are wanting me to answer and I am sure they are going to hunt me down and make me pay some big fee because I didn't do something right. Besides the fact that I get these things in the mail that I have no idea what they are, but they say they are tax documents. So happy I still get refunds though, which is probably because I fill out the form wrong. Anyhow hooray for taxes!

Thank you God

I just wanted to say that I am so thankful for sunny days and starry nights. Sunshine is just one of those things that is such an essential part of keeping me happy and the stars are like God's glitter to remind me that he is there. :)Thank you God for being so generous and letting us share in your splendor!

Shopping Withdrawls

Does anyone else feel this pain with me! O my goodness. I am having some major shopping withdrawls right now. I really want these new cute boots soooo bad, but of course student loans and rent and phone bills o and don't forget about insurance always get in the way. I hope that sometime soon down the road I will be able to shop and get something fun and new that stares at me and taunts it's way into my memory without feeling like a bad person for spending MY hard earned money on something great! Ok I just needed to vent on that one!
